ROOMS & SUITES

A night at the Château

Anna, Floris II, Guda, Willem and Karl V, to name a few.
Our suites are named after iconic individuals who played a great role in the history of the Château. Each room has its own story to tell.

Our rooms and suites radiate a classic elegance and are designed with modern luxury and comfort. Fall asleep on a state-of-the-art box spring, decorated with fluffed pillows and quality bedding. Shower with luxury bath products and feel free to use our complimentary bathrobes and slippers. The luxury service at the Château starts with valet parking when you drive up to our estate, a butler service upon your entrance and a turndown service before bedtime.

Floris II

In 1569, Château Wittem was destroyed in the long war between Spain and the Netherlands. Floris of Pallandt II came into possession of the ruins of the Château in 1604 and partially restored the Château. Sources claim that Château Wittem was initially much bigger than it is today. There is only one drawing of Château Wittem, which dates back to this period and is displayed in the Regional Historic Centre of Limburg.

Château room

Small, but pleasant. Our Château room named Floris II may be our smallest room, its comfort is equal to all other rooms. Floris II is a light and bright room with shades of warm yellow.

Château classic rooms

Intimate with ambience. Our Château Classic rooms offer everything you should expect of a castle suite, with a regal yet relaxing tone. The Classic rooms are named Maximiliaan (blue), Anna (red), Winand (orange) and Albertina (green). The Classic rooms are located on the first and second floor of the Château.

Château superior rooms

The Château Superior rooms are pure luxury and charm. The Superior rooms are named Sophie (yellow), Arnold I (green), Hubertina (blue), Guda (red) and Alexander (orange). With stunning views of the tranquil Château Gardens, you can relax in style in these rooms.

Château tower suite

The Tower suite is one of the most romantic rooms in the Château. We have two suites available – the ‘Willem of Oranje Nassau Suite’ and the ‘Karl V Suite’. They are named after two of the Château’s most exclusive guests.
